The Pet Athletic Club is my favorite small business. Our dogs have been members since 2006.
PAC staff members are caring, reliable and trustworthy. We have never worried about the safety of our dogs while at PAC and have always known they would receive the best attention and care.
We primarily use PAC’s daycare and boarding services. But we have also received training for our dogs at PAC, including through PAC’s Board and Train program. PAC’s Scott Nordgren is the best dog trainer in Cincinnati and one of the best in the country. Not only does Scott work miracles in correcting dogs’ problem behaviors but he also teaches dog owners what they need to know to keep their canine best friends on track with their training.
PAC makes its members — both the dogs and their owners — feel like family. I would never consider leaving PAC and will always take my dogs there.
PAC is a fabulous resource for anyone who has a dog. My border collie started having a lot of reactivity issues at 5 months, and we started training with Scott. We did a board and train, followed by private lessons and now we are in the group obedience classes on Mondays. He is fabulous with her, and his method is effective but also simple enough for me to understand. It has been a lot of work and consistency is key, but Ralph would not have the quality of life she does without PAC. Although she may not ever be a super social dog, she is not limited anymore by her reactivity and has gained so much confidence. She now does a frisbee league, agility classes, and can go pretty much anywhere on or off leash.
My dogs also go to daycare, and although they don't enjoy being in with the main group of dogs, Ellery takes amazing care of them and she makes sure they get one on one playtime during the day. Also their baths are AMAZING!
We love PAC! Our dog has some social issues, and they have gone above and beyond to help us train him. The staff knows our dog so well, and he absolutely loves going to daycare!
The PAC team has been great with my dog. She goes to day care and also boards at the PAC. My dog is interacting with other dogs and she has a great time. The team is caring and responsive and I feel confident my dog is well taken care of.
We chose PAC and continue to go back because not only is my dog is dead tired from playing at the end of every day, but I know his experience was structured and monitored. They use training techniques to manage play time, so all dogs can play together safely... and avoid learning or reinforcing bad behaviors. They know every dog like their own... who their best friend is, how they like to play, their favorite snacks and tricks. There are even holiday parties where they treat our pups to extra special treats. Highly recommend PAC daycare!
